What to expect

During the procedure 4 to 6 implants will be placed into the jaw. Your denture then will be attached to the implants with the special screws and trimmed to function immediately like your natural teeth. The procedure typically can be completed in one day and can be done under local anesthesia or sedation. A soft diet may be required during the initial healing phase. Upon complete healing (about 4 months) the existing prosthesis may be replaced with custom made fixed Zirconium bridge.

Would I need to stay without teeth while the implant is healing?

The protocol used by Dr. Mikhail Gomer for All-On-4/All-On-6 procedure completely eliminates the phase when patient has to stay without teeth or even use removable dentures while healing. In most of the cases you will have your teeth that look and function naturally on the same say of surgery.
