What is Bioclear?

Bioclear is a new technique used as an alternative to porcelain or composite veneers. This technique is great for restoring broken, undersized or discolored teeth. But its greatest advantage is to help patients with a “black triangles” between the teeth to achieve a greater smile.

Bioclear is not a bonding.

In fact, dentist must make a big investment to perform this procedure. The special materials, composite warming device, Bioclear patented matrices that feet different teeth, isolation system and special Bioclear instruments – all of these not what most dental offices have. Not to mention that each dentist who wants to perform the procedure must complete extensive educational program in Tacoma, WA.
So, Bioclear is not a bonding. Even though they both use composite, Bioclear uses specifically designed matrices and warm composite injection technique, which makes it monolithic. Which means it’s about 3 times stronger than bonding.

Cost of Bioclear

Generally speaking, dentistry is expensive. That is a fact. And when we buy something expensive we want to enjoy it for a long time. That includes our smile too. The porcelain veneers may cost from $1,500 to $2,500. A Bioclear restoration typically cost 25% to 50% less than a porcelain veneers. It is a substantial saving, especially if you consider that Bioclear dentist will not damage your tooth by grinding it. In comparison with conventional bonding, Bioclear is about 25% more expensive, but longevity and esthetics of Bioclear is much, much greater.
